Why Me, Lord? - A Study in the Book of Job (September-November 2007)

Although the time of Job is not precisely known, it would seem that he lived during the period of the patriarchs (post-flood Genesis). The study of this book touches on several challenging issues including Satan's intervention in human affairs and why "bad things happen to good people" (the role of suffering).

In this nine-part series, we will consider Satan's challenge to God, his attack on Job, and the discussions that follow between Job, his friends and, ultimately, God Himself.

We will consider the lessons learned from the study of Job's sufferings in light of the truth revealed to the church in the New Testament.
